Consider authorizing the County Auditor to advertise for Request for Proposals for Fully Insured Dental Benefits and Vision Benefits for Bell County Employees.
Consider authorizing the County Auditor to purchase one Police Package Ford Interceptor through the BuyBoard with Caldwell/Rockdale Country Ford in the amount of $29,200.00. This vehicle is replacing a Sheriff’s Department vehicle that was in a wreck and confirmed as a total loss. The County will receive a settlement amount of $21,346.00 from the insurance company of the driver at fault. The County will pay $7,854.00 to offset the cost of the new vehicle.
Consider awarding IFB 16-17, Stone RipRap, to the only bid received, Heartland Quarries LLC at: a. 3x5 inch bulk at $11.85 per ton; b. 5x8 bulk at $18.00 per ton; c. 12x18 bulk at $24.00 per ton; and d. 18x24 at $32.00 per ton.
