Recognize the Bell County Technical Services Department and Director, Adam Ward, for being selected by the Center for Digital Government at the Annual Conference of the National Association of Counties for a Top-Ten Ranking in the 2017 Digital Counties Survey, with 10th Place in the 250,000 – 499,999 Population Category. Bell County and Tarrant County (who came in 10th in the 1 million or more Population Category) were the only counties from Texas recognized.
Consider approval of Resolution Authorizing County Grant in the amount of $8,670.00 to Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. (HCCA) to be used between February 1, 2018 and January 31, 2019 in order to supplement and extend existing services for HCCA to be eligible to receive Texas Department of Agriculture Home-Delivered Meal Grant Program funds to provide Home-Delivered Meals to Homebound Persons in Bell County who are elderly and/or have a disability.
Consider award of RFP 23-17 – Disaster and/or Storm Recovery Services to CrowderGulf as the primary contractor and Ceres as the alternate contractor for Bell County.
Consider award of RFP 17-17 – UPS System Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services to the highest evaluated vendor, Nationwide Power.
Consider authorizing the last of three (3) one-year renewals with Rene Bates, under the same terms and conditions from RFP #29-13, Online Auctioneers Services.
