Consider a determination whether circumstances are present in all or part of the unincorporated area of Bell County that creates a public safety hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning, and if so, consider approval of Order Restricting Outdoor Burning (Burn Ban).
Consider approval of Proclamation designating the Month of October 2017 as “Fire Prevention Month” and encouraging Bell County citizens to develop a Home Fire Escape Plan to be practiced twice a year.
Consider adoption of Resolution of the County of Bell Board of Directors for the Adoption of the County of Bell Cafeteria Plan effective November 1, 2017 through October 31, 2018.
Consider approval for Bell County to be the sponsor and applicant for a Defense Economic Adjustment Assistance Grant (DEAAG) for Airfield Security Instrumentation Project for Robert Grey Army Air Field (RGAAF)/GRK Airport, to be fiscal agent for the grant, and for Bell County to contribute $117,812.50 of the Local Cost Share, to be funded from Unassigned General Fund Balance.
Consider approval under Local Government Code Section 118.131, the establishment of Sheriff and Constables Fees effective January 1, 2018.
Consider approval of Bell County’s Planned Maintenance (PM) Agreement (TIPS Contract # 01042315) for Generators at several County locations with Clifford Power for the following: a. Year 1: September 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018 with price of $21,746.00 b. Year 2 renewal: October 1, 2018 – September 30, 2019 with price of $21,746.00 c. Year 3 renewal: October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2020 with price of $21,746.00
