Announce the Texas Military Preparedness Commission’s awarding a $3.1 million Defense Economic Adjustment Assistance Grant to Bell County for Airport Security Instrumentation for Robert Grey Army Air Field/Killeen Airport, in which Bell County was the project sponsor and funded 25% of the local cost share, with additional cost share participation from the cities of Belton, Copperas Cove, Gatesville, Harker Heights, Killeen, and Temple.
Consider authorizing the first of four (4) one-year renewals with Integrated Prescription Management, under the same terms and conditions from RFP #13-17, Pharmacy Benefits Management Services for Bell County Indigent Health Services Department.
7. Consider authorizing the County Auditor to purchase twenty-three Harris Model XL- 200P multi-band portable radios with multiband antennas, chargers and belt clips for the Bell County Sheriff’s Office with Homeland Security Grant funds (Grant # 3387501). These radios will enable the Bell County Sheriff’s Office to be directly interoperable with the all other public safety agencies in the CTCOG region, which is main purpose of the grant 8. Consider approval for the Bell County Sheriff’s Office portable radios, that are being replaced by the above purchase, to be issued to the following Bell County volunteer fire departments to assist them with conversion to the new P-25 radio system.
