Consider entering into a “Challenge Partnership between The Department of Army (COE) and Bell County” for roadway improvements on Union Grove Rd. and Gravel Crossing Rd. located in Precinct 2. b. Consider approval of the 2017 Bell County phase II MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) annual report that shall be submitted to the TCEQ.
Consider ratifying the approval of an MOU between the Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Hood and Bell County for the use of the Vehicle Registration Office (building 69004) on Fort Hood. This MOU was mandated by Fort Hood as part of the license agreement with the Directorate of Public Works for the Vehicle Registration Office.
Consider accepting the donation of one 1999 Freightliner Van/Coach (VIN # 4UZA5FAC2XCB41368) and all mounted equipment from the Director of Emergency Medical Services, on behalf of Baylor Scott and White Health for the Sheriff’s Department to use as a mobile command post and secondary location for 911 backup; appropriate under Local Government Code, Title 3, subtitle B, Chapter 81, subchapter B, Section 81.032.
Consider approval to sell one (1) Caterpillar 140M2 Motor Graders (serial# N9M001165) to Holt Cat through their buyback program in the amount of $235,000 for the Road and Bridge Department.
Consider the approval of a change order in the amount of $247,872.00 to the Livestock/Equestrian Center project to address the cost of the special arena dirt, which was designated as Bell County’s responsibility in the contract. The amount of this change order will be covered by funds in the owners contingency. The total GMP cost of the project will not increase as a result of this change order. This change order does change to the contracted Substantial Completion Date to June 29, 2018.
