Consider the approval of contract with Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP (KPA) for civil engineering services related to the site improvements associated with the construction of the DPS Building to be located on the Justice Center complex. These services shall include the development of plans for site utility services, site drainage, ADA accessibility, design of parking and access drive improvements. The contract contains three parts: 1) Topographic Surveying and Civil Engineering final Design Phase Services in the amount of $21,500.00; 2) Civil engineering Bid Phase Services in the amount of $1,500.00; and 3) Civil Engineering Construction Phase Services – to be billed at an hourly rate $150 per hour, not-to-exceed $5,000.00. Total value of the contract is not-toexceed of $28,000.
Consider approval of a sole source contract with Courthouse Technologies, Ltd. (CHT) for a new Jury Management System in the amount of $68,330 for 33,000 summons annually and an implementation cost of $4,400.
