Announce 2018 Tire Recycle Event, Hosted by Bell County Commissioners’ Court and Bell County Farm Bureau, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 and Friday, October 26, 2018 and from 8:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Bell County Expo Center at Loop 121 and IH-35 in Belton.
Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement between Bell County, Texas, and Academy Independent School District Regarding School Resource Officer.
Remove the setting of a Public Hearing, as required by Chapter 297 of the Health and Safety Code, from September 10, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., on any mandatory payments and how revenue from those payments are to be spent, until a later date to be reset on a future agenda.
Discussion and Consider Adoption of An Order with Respect to Waste Management, Inc. Project. (This order approves the issuance of tax exempt bonds to refinance a Waste Management Project located at 706 Landfill Road, Temple, Texas 76501.) These bonds are not a liability of Bell County, Texas, and no public funds are involved in this financing.
Consider ratifying the second 1-year extension to the contract for Property & Casualty Insurance (contact term September 1, 2018 – September 1, 2019) with Extraco Insurance as allowed from RFP #11-16, Property & Casualty Insurance.
Consider award of IFB #06-19 – Corrugated Galvanized Metal Culvert Pipe to Contech Engineered Solutions LLC and Wilson Culverts as indicated on the bid tabulation for the Road & Bridge Department.
Consider entering into a 5-year rental/lease agreement with Aramark Uniform Services for uniforms and accessories with a price increase of 5% each year under Contract #507-16 through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative for the Road & Bridge Department and the Facilities Services Department.
