Consider authorizing a sole source annual contract with Harris Corporation for maintenance of the Bell County’s P25 Radio System from 10/1/19 thru 09/30/2020 at a cost of $333,543.00 for the 911Communication Center. This system provides the critical Public Safety and Public Service communications for Bell County as well as the cities of Belton, Temple, Killeen, Harker Heights and many other agencies throughout the surrounding area.
Consider approval of an interlocal contract between Bell County and the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) relating to the use of the DIR Shared Services Master Service Agreement for Election Security Assessment provided through AT&T at no cost to the County.
