Conduct a public hearing and consider a tax abatement agreement submitted by Robert W. Hoxworth, on behalf of First National Bank Texas, for property addressed as 2201 Trimmier Road, Killeen, Texas and located in the Killeen I-14/ Trimmier Road Reinvestment Zone. The tax abatement request is in consideration of a new five-story, 47,653 square feet facility to include furnishings, equipment, fixtures and associated architecture and engineering expenses at a cost of $14,695,261.
Consider the appointment of Dr. Louella Tate as Central Counties Services Board member with term beginning September 1, 2020.
Consider approval of a resolution in support of the nomination of Commissioner Bobby Whitson for a position on the Texas Water Development Board regional flood planning group.
Consider authorizing the County Judge to execute a modification to Centex Fire and Arson Task Force Interlocal Agreement between Bell County, Coryell County, Killeen, Harker Heights, Belton, Temple, and Copperas Cove.
Consider authorizing the County Judge to execute a 36 month agreement with AmeriFlex as the carrier for the Flexible Spending Account for Bell County Employees for a contract beginning November 1, 2020.
Consider making a determination as to whether circumstances are present in all or part of the unincorporated area of Bell County that create a public safety hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning and issuing an Order Restricting Outdoor Burning (Burn Ban).
Discuss and consider action on the Bell County Local Disaster Declaration dated March 18, 2020, any associated Directives that have been issued by the County Judge, and any federal or state declarations or orders associated with such.
