Consider and take appropriate action on a resolution and order authorizing the County Judge to enter into a tax abatement agreement pursuant to the County’s guidelines and criteria under the Property Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act, Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code as requested by Big Elm Solar LLC for approximately $186,000,000 in improvements related to the production of renewable energy utilizing solar panels.
County Engineer: a. 34Conduct a Public Hearing and Consider Approval to establish a 30-mph speed zone on Sugar Cane Lane located in Precinct 3 Bell County, Texas.
Consider and take appropriate action on an Order of Commissioners Court for Acceptance of Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) County Infrastructure Improvement Fund (CTIF) Grant.
Consider authorizing the County Judge to execute a Memorandum of Understanding between Bell County and the City of Copperas Cove, Texas for the provision of fire suppression and/or other emergency services to rural residents in a certain area of Bell County.
Discuss and consider action on the Bell County Local Disaster Declaration dated March 18, 2020, any associated Directives that have been issued by the County Judge, and any federal or state declarations or orders associated with such.
