Consider a Resolution Authorizing a County Grant in the amount of $8,670 to Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. (HCCA) to be used between February 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022 in order to supplement and extend existing services for HCCA to be eligible to receive Texas Department of Agriculture Home-Delivered Meal Grant Program funds to provide Home-Delivered Meals to Homebound Persons in Bell County who are elderly and/or have a disability.
Consider authorizing the County Judge to enter into an agreement with the following agencies for FY2021: ? AWARE Central Texas in the amount of $52,000 to provide case management, educational classes and family services to victims of Child Abuse and their families. ? Bell County Child Welfare Board in the amount of $25,000 to provide clothing, car seats, beds, vital records and other needs of Bell County children removed by CPS from their homes. ? Bell County Judge & Commissioners’ Committee on People with Disabilities in the amount of $2,500 to fund an awards banquet to recognize Bell County residents that promote awareness of positive contributions and impact individuals with disabilities. ? Bell County Public Health District in the amount of $162,974 to provide environmental health and food protection services. ? Cen-Tex Alcoholic Rebab Center in the amount of 10% of the Alcoholic Beverage Tax collected to provide inpatient treatment to Bell County residents with substance abuse disorders. ? Cenikor Rehab Center in the amount of 10% of the Alcoholic Beverage Tax collected to provide inpatient treatment to Bell County residents with substance abuse disorders.
