Consider declaring work needed during February's Winter Storm an emergency and ratify the contract with Belfor Property Restoration for mitigation through BuyBoard contract #591-19 for the following buildings in a total amount of $102,518.99. a. Cora Anderson Building -$3,194.48 b. Road & Bridge - $15,874.99 c. Juvenile Detention Center Bldg. 7 - $26,917.03 d. Sheriff's Office - 56,532.49
Consider the approval of the proposed budget, as detailed in SEDALCO's proposal letter dated August 17, 2021, in the amount of $959,215.00 for the drawing development, fabrication, and erection of the two (2) Minimum Security pre-engineered metal buildings and the fabrication and erection of the two (2) Minimum Security conventional steel mezzanine framing. Upon completion of the design and approval documents prepared by the pre-engineered metal building fabricator (anticipated by October 2, 2021), the County has the option to terminate the order and not move forward with fabrication, cost associated with this termination is $57,650 due to SEDALCO. Once the County has approved SEDALCO to proceed with fabrication, the County will be obligated for the full amount of $959,215. The Minimum Security GMP will not be established until November 2021, this step is necessary, to lockJn pricing and get this material on the production schedule as soon as possible
